I Agree With Rosie

by Glitterazzi_Girl / Tuesday, 09 October 2012 / Published in reality stars, Reality TV

Rosie O’Donnell said, “I think that little girl, Honey Boo Boo, is like Shirley Temple. She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years. Some of the things she says and comes up with, I dunno…” Rosie, I couldn’t agree with you more, only let’s not ignore the talent that Ms. Black had which Alana does not. #Fact. The stuff that Honey Boo Boo says is not the average 6-year-old drivel, the girl is an old soul for sure.

PS? This photo of Alana is called a “High Glitz” photo in the pageant circuit and it costs a hefty sum. Not only is it airbrushed beyond any hints at human life form, but it rarely looks like the subject. Drag queens do the same thing. LOOOOVE ITTTTT

I love you, Michelle, but the difference is that drag queens are adults. Children have their entire adult lives to worry about how they look…they shouldn’t be getting spray tans and wearing hair pieces at 3 years old. 🙁

I’m sorry but I think child beauty pageants are terrible. Children do not need to be taught how to be stuck up and conceited at a young age. And every woman I know who was a pageant kid grew up to be stuck up, conceited jerks.

And I think some of the stuff that comes out of Honey Boo Boo’s mouth is distressing. She spouts hooker language…terrible!

I dont think Honey Boo Boo should be considered a “Young Drag Queen”. She’s not doing the make-up herself. I think if the child WANTS to do the beauty pageants then GREAT!!!!! but don’t air brush the kid or make her look fake. Its kinda embracing the Stereo-types of what “pretty” is. #Body revolution.

I think it is a sad situation all the way around. I think that the media is taking advantage of this family. They are obviously uneducated and lacking in the ways of the media knowledge in order to make informed decisions concerning that precious little girl. One only can assume that she will become a child star gone wrong looking at the foundation which she has to keep herself grounded. I do not mean to sound harsh, but it is just what I see. I wish her only the best and that she will find the social skills to rise above it when she becomes of age. Hopefully some of the money they are making off this girl will go to a future education.
