Visage’s Book Club: HIDE 1: Untethered by Jax Spenser
I like this genre (syfy) and love this book! Having been a True Blood fangirl (yes, sticking with even through the bad seasons) and a lover of paranormal, I knew HIDE was going to be a fun read and it delivered! … starting with emotionally powerful relationships between the main character and his father and ending in the creepy little town that they’ve just been lured to. Great dialogue and rising suspense. Buckle up, it’s a fantastic thrill ride that will leave you biting at your nails! I flew through it but I hear there’s more to come and … I. Can’t. Wait.

This Is Something I Must Read
No, But Seriously. 50 Shades of….Wine?
C’mon women, we are more than just sheep looking for a flock to make richer, aren’t we? This is the most ridiculous venture within this franchise yet. The panties, fluffy cuffs, condoms and random fetish items at Hot Topic I understand, but wine? Check it our for yourself here. If you are part of the flock of women who think this is actual, good erotica? Then I implore you to get Anne Rice’s The Sleeping Beauty trilogy for starters. Even if you just read the first one, the Claiming of Beauty, you will get a taste of what real erotica reads like. Be on standby with vibrators or lovers because the breaks will be frequent and urgent. You’re welcome. If you need more suggestions, hit me up, I live for true erotica and I’ve many titles to recommend. This is not good erotica at all, it’s predictable and remedial. I would never let you down 😉

Catching Fire Movie Will Differ From Book
This is where I get upset. My favorite book in the Harry Potter Series was Half Blood Prince and the movie was the hugest let down. I know that the movie can’t be 4 hours, but artistic liberties sometimes are a detriment and now the producers of Catching Fire have announced that the film will differ from the book. They have announced they made changes. Ugh.
