According to Cameron Diaz, monogamous relationships don’t work. Cameron says, “I don’t know if anyone is really naturally monogamous. We all have the same instincts as animals. But we live in a society where it’s been ingrained in us to do these things. A lot of people chase after it because they’ve been told, ‘This equals happiness. They chase it, they get it and then they find out, ‘Why did I think this was going to make me happy? I’m miserable.”‘ Look, I don’t know if I disagree 100%, but at the same time, I have been married to the same man for almost 17 years and for the first time in my life, I have no interest in cheating. I have cheated on pretty much every long term boyfriend I ever had sadly, that is how I knew my David was the “one”. I think if you find the one, on both sides mind you, because just one of you being the one doesn’t help, then monogamous is A-ok and it works for you. A grand statement for all of society doesn’t work for me, though it is an opinion and we’ve all got one. I think Cammy hasn’t found her soulmate and I hope she does in this lifetime.
Stopitrightnow. I can’t. You are of course, allowed creative license when you play a role, but when you are following in the footsteps of two massive legends, Dorothy Louden and Carol Burnett, you had better deliver the goods. In the remake of Annie (I’m honestly frightened for this), Cameron Diaz is playing the child-hating Miss Hannigan and this was the pic she tweeted of herself “in character.” Uh. Oh. Look I am not hating on Cam, but I am a theater queen and have a certain expectation when it comes to my musicals, especially remakes. (via WoW)
