Lincoln is gonna SLAY everyone this awards season, just you watch. Daniel Day Lewis is masterful and Spielberg directing is no hardship either. Even on paper that shit is a win/win. Lincoln just earned a record-breaking 13 nominations for the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Oscar noms are only a month away and you know this one will be all up in there too. (Photo via IMDB)

Seeing this picture of Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln blew me away. Look, Steven Spielberg is directing it so naturally there will be nothing below perfection, but the role almost went to Liam Neeson. Look how freakin’ identical DDL is! He already has the Oscar nomination if you ask me. Spoiler alert: He gets shot in the head and dies.
