Hair loss. For men it’s bad enough, but socially acceptable. For women? Not so much. It changes every single thing about their personality. The feeling of dread when you have to wash your hair and see a giant tarantula of hair at the drain, or never wanting to look at the brush after you’ve run it through your hair. Yes, real issues that I have battled for years. Thyroid disease wreaks havoc on my hair and Viviscal is my secret weapon. If you have ever dealt with this issue like I have (it’s so much worse when I am shooting because of how I am damaging my hair), look no further than the all natural alternative. It’s a pill you take everyday, completely holistic and no side effects except growing hair, not just Rogaine peach fuzz, but real hair. It’s pricey, but there is always a coupon on the interweb.
I have to tell you, Kevyn Aucoin was one of the best makeup artists that ever lived and I can say that his line lives up to his hype. I love pretty much every product in the line but his skin products? The Sensual Skin Enhancer and the Liquid Airbrush Foundation trump everything out there. This lives up to it’s name. My skin is a flawless canvas when I use this foundation and the coverage is intense, but not thick or thick looking. A little goes a long way. It is well worth the $45. Buy yours here and never look back.
One of the very first things i learned from Dr. Oz when he first started on Oprah’s show and I still do it to this day, is when doing your wash, it never gets totally clean, especially if you use natural products (which I do). Even if you use Tide, put in a full cap of mouthwash in with the detergent (I use Target brand) and that kills any other bacteria that might’ve not been slayed in the hot water. Love this tip!
Make a mascara, Visage will buy it. Literally. I walked into Sephora for some Buxom and left with Buxom and a new Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash mascara and fell in love instantly. First off, I didn’t realize her line had grown from atomizer sparkle blowers to make up and I am so happy she did. This mascara is not too prices, $19, and worth every red cent. It reminds me of my other favorite, my expensive favorite, Guerlain. I am constantly asked if I am wearing falsies when I wear this mascara and that is usually the telltale sign for me. Buy it and werk it!
I am a sucker for good products. Let’s be honest, I will try them all, good and bad, but the good ones? They get talked about alllll the time in my world. Sugarpill Cosmetics is one of the good ones that I will be talking about for a long tine and so will you when you try their products. I am OBSESSED with their ChromaLust loose pigments. They balance just the perfect amount of glitter/shimmer with pigment and they last all night long (big plus). My favorite color right now is Birthday Girl, but mostly because I am a pink whore and it is my go to color. I did the inner corners of my eyes with it in this photo. The pigment is amazing and true to what you see when you look at the palette. This brand is worth not only checking out, but buying. LOVE YOU SUGARPILL!
