Nicki scrubbed it off instead of piling it on for the April issue of ELLE Magazine and I likes what I sees. When asked what Nicki thought of her makeunder she said, “When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I’m so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it’s hard. I feel that it’s become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol’ crazy lashes— you know, nothing— I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes.” Girl, you still have hair, lashes and contacts, what more do you REALLY need?!
I am always on a continuous journey to use as many natural products in my beauty regime as I can. It used to be natural = shit but not anymore. I feel like Dr. Hauschka paved the way with super high quality natural skin care products and soooo many other have followed suit (thank GOD) and have hit the shelves. While I am a huge fan of the good Dr. Hauschka, there are others I wanna talk about. Specifically, Annemarie Borlind. This eye cream is everything. It’s $30, I use it for my night eye cream and let me tell you, a little goes a loooong way. 100% worth every stinkin’ penny. I got it at Sprouts but check it here. Can’t wait to try more from this line.
Hair loss. For men it’s bad enough, but socially acceptable. For women? Not so much. It changes every single thing about their personality. The feeling of dread when you have to wash your hair and see a giant tarantula of hair at the drain, or never wanting to look at the brush after you’ve run it through your hair. Yes, real issues that I have battled for years. Thyroid disease wreaks havoc on my hair and Viviscal is my secret weapon. If you have ever dealt with this issue like I have (it’s so much worse when I am shooting because of how I am damaging my hair), look no further than the all natural alternative. It’s a pill you take everyday, completely holistic and no side effects except growing hair, not just Rogaine peach fuzz, but real hair. It’s pricey, but there is always a coupon on the interweb.
Okay, here’s the sitch: I have literally tried every single natural deodorant out there and I was stinking everyday, especially after my workouts (even with a shower), for about 6 months. My poor radio co-host in Florida suffered through all of this until I stumbled upon the winner, . Let your body detox from heavy metals and smell fresh while that happens. Sometimes after a hard workout in August I will have to re-apply but all in all? This is the hands down winner, all for $6.99. Sidebar: I never tested the actual crystal or roll-on so if you wanna chance that, you’re on your own.
