Thoughts On This One?
I love me some Johnny Depp but I am not completely sold on his portrayal of Tonto. In a nutshell, I am sure there are Native American actors (like the original) that could’ve killed this role but Johnny has a name. I am praying he doesn’t camp it up too much like Cap’n Jack Sparrow. On the other hand? Armie Hammer is a great Lone Ranger.
I’m hopeful… The trailer looks awesome, but you’re right. If he camps it up, that would be bad.
